Job Summary
One of New York's best restaurant groups in NYC is looking for a Sous Chef. This group is seeking a Sous Chef for one of its flagship restaurants. If you are a Sous Chef with at least 2 years of fine dining experience and looking for a new opportunity with lots of growth, then this opportunity is for you.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Assisting the head chef in all aspects of the kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining new recipes, presentations, and products
- Supervising and training kitchen staff, delegating tasks as needed, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Managing food inventory, and ordering supplies and equipment as needed. Responsible for daily operations of our restaurant
- Familiar with scheduling, ordering, training, and development
- Lead by example
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an upscale food operation
- Previous management experience in a full-service restaurant
- Open Availability, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to lead when Executive Chef is not there
- Must be proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, and sanitation
